Dr. Sridhar Dasari, Pulmonary Disease Specialist at Webster Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center: Designated in the List of Top Doctors 2015
Webster Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a proud member of the Marquis Health Services family, proudly announces the designation of its Pulmonary Medical Director, Dr. Sridhar Dasari, in the TOP DOCTORS 2015 list complied by Castle Connolly, and published in the November issue of South Shore Magazine. This, is a second year in a row designation for Dr. Dasari.
This is an important designation bearing in mind that Castle Connolly, a research company founded in 1992, asks actual doctors to nominate top doctors — an ingenious way to find out who doctors themselves would go see if they were sick.
A Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine specialist, Dr. Dasari obtained his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College Manipal in India, received a fellowship from St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and has been in practice for 10 years.
“Under the leadership of Dr. Dasari, our professional team is trained to provide specialized care and services to patients with a variety of acute and chronic lung disorders” indicates Kathleen Ferranti, administrator at Webster Park at Webster Park. “Our specialized Pulmonary Program”, points Ferranti, “aims to reduce pulmonary symptoms, decrease disability, and put emphasis on increasing participation in physical and social services, as well as promoting independence and quality of life”.
The stellar medical staff at Webster Park includes specialized physicians affiliated with top local and Boston area hospitals, boasts a formidable team of dedicated RNs, LPNs, and Respiratory Therapists is recognized for delivering advanced rehabilitative treatment following stroke, heart attack, traumatic injury, and any serious medical condition. Dr. Dasari conducts multidisciplinary rounds: nursing, respiratory, rehab, speech, and discharge planning on all patients in the Pulmonary Program.
In Webster Park’s subacute unit, their expert team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists provide aggressive personalized therapy regimens administered up to 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
